How To Become A Sperm Donor

Step 1: APPLY

To get started, you’ll complete a brief online application where you’ll be asked to provide basic personal information and confirm that you meet the initial eligibility requirements to become a sperm donor.

Step 2: Book a Video Consultation

After your application has been approved, a donor specialist from our team will arrange a one-on-one video consultation with you. This session typically lasts around 60 minutes and is designed to walk you through the full donation process while giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Following the consultation, you will be asked to complete several electronic documents and submit additional materials, including personal photos, verification of your GPA and test scores, and a valid photo ID.

Once all required information has been received and reviewed, your sperm donor profile will be published on our platform and made available for intended parents to view.

Step 3: Intended Parents Review Your Profile

The timing of being selected by intended parents can vary and is often the most unpredictable part of the donation process. Intended parents consider many different qualities when choosing a donor, and finding the right match may take time. This stage can range from a few days to several months, and throughout the process, your donor specialist will be available to support and guide you.

Step 4: Complete Screenings, Legal Agreement, and Donation

As part of the donation process, you will participate in a psychological evaluation to ensure you are fully informed and emotionally prepared to proceed. In many cases, your medical screening and sperm donation may take place during the same appointment, although scheduling will ultimately be coordinated by the intended parents’ IVF physician.

Before the donation is finalized, a legal agreement will be established between you and the intended parents to clearly define the terms and expectations of the donation. We will connect you with an attorney who specializes in reproductive law, who will guide you through the agreement and ensure you feel confident and comfortable throughout the process.
